The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Council of Dallas would not be able to serve those in need without your support. Eighty-six cents of every dollar donated to the Society goes towards sustaining our programs and services and four cents of every dollar goes to the training and formation of the Vincentian volunteers who provide the person-to-person service unique to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Together, we can not only provide assistance for basic necessities, but in time, turn these desperate situations into hope-filled new beginnings. The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores work with the Society providing vouchers to those in need so that they can shop for clothing, furniture or household goods. Additionally, St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores offer low prices on quality merchandise to all customers. All net proceeds from the sales at the thrift stores are used to support the programs and services of SVdP.
Planned gifts are a way to ensure that SVdP receives your support now and in the future. A planned gift is any financial gift that takes effect at death or requires a document such as a will, gift annuity or trust. These types of gifts may provide you with immediate tax benefits and increased income during your lifetime. More importantly, they allow you, as a donor, to demonstrate your values and beliefs to your family and community and leave a lasting legacy.
Whether your vehicle is a late model sedan, a classic collectable, an unfinished project car or an old clunker gathering dust in the driveway, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will turn any vehicle into a valuable donation to bring hope and assistance to those in need right here in North Texas.
Donate your gently used clothing, furniture, and household goods to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to help us keep our thrift stores stocked with quality, reasonably priced merchandise that is offered to treasure hunters and bargain shoppers or given to those in need via our voucher program. Your donation can make a real difference because all net proceeds from our thrift stores goes back into the Society to fund our programs and services.
