How to Call for Help

Do NOT visit the locations on the map before contacting us. SVdP does not have regular onsite coverage there, and we want to help you as efficiently as possible.

There are two ways to contact SVdP when you need assistance:

When You Call: to best assist you, please provide the following information:
–First and Last Name
–Zipcode
–Briefly describe the nature of your request (financial assistance, prescription medication, etc.)
–If you get voicemail, DON’T FORGET to leave your phone number: we will call you back

• If you do not have a phone, click below to fill out the online form.
  All requests for help are received by trained staff between the hours of 9am and 4pm, Monday through Friday.

This map shows the 30+ “headquarters” of each local chapter of the Society in North Texas. In the Society, these local groups of friends and volunteers are called “conferences.” Our volunteers, affectionately named “Vincentians,” gather in their neighborhood parishes to coordinate resources when people call for help. The volunteer teams prayerfully and discretely discuss each request for help to determine the best way to provide assistance. If you need assistance, the SVdP conference in your zip code may be able to help.

Please call our helpline number or click the button below BEFORE coming to these locations. St. Vincent de Paul does not have regular on-site coverage for immediate help.

Our volunteers respond to requests for help by calling to speak to you within 48 hours!
