St. Joseph’s Conference Helps Family in Need
February 13, 2012 No CommentsThe St. Joseph’s Conference of Richardson has partnered with Network Community Ministries to help a family in need. The family was unable to afford a walker with a seat, needed to facilitate the parishioners physical therapy.
The Network of Community Ministries has received walkers, wheel chairs, bathing seats and more from the Veterans Hospital. The items may be borrowed as needed for anyone in the Dallas Diocese. The only qualification is need.
Members of the St. Joseph’s conference helped a parishioner apply for and receive the walker needed as part of the new program.
Linda Kindel, St. Joseph’s SVdP Conference President, was overjoyed at so many people coming together to help someone in her community. “It was a blessing to see the Network Community Ministries, Veterans Hospital, and our conference collaborate on providing the best care to our parishioner. We are grateful for their assistance and look forward to help others in the future, together.”
